Ergonomical advice

A part of the aftercare of an Orthomanual Veterinary Medicine consultation is the ergonomic advice. Here we look at the lifestyle and environment of the patient and the caretaker. Temporary or permanent adjustments to enhance recovery are defined and discussed. Examples of ergonomic recommendations include indications for proper lifting and carrying the dog, a chest harness instead of a collar in neck patients, and creating adjustments in the environment, such as a step, ramp or antiskid mats.
