Orthomanuele behandeling

Dorit C. Aharon, DVM

Born and raised in Israel, Dorit C. Aharon studied veterinary medicine in the Netherlands. She has been a practicing veterinarian since 1986, working in both the Netherlands and in Israel, where she was attached to the Ministry of Agriculture. In Israel she taught at the then just-established Veterinary Faculty.

After completing a study in human orthomanual medicine, in 2001 she became the first veterinarian to adapt and apply the orthomanual approach to animals. Over the years, Aharon refined her knowledge and approach, supplemented by post-graduate studies in neurology and orthopaedics. The result is the Aharon Method of Orthomanual Veterinary Medicine, which is now taught in the Netherlands and abroad.

Dorit C. Aharon, DVM, is:

  • Member of the European Society of Veterinary Neurology (ESVN)
  • Chairperson of the Dutch Society of Orthomanual Veterinary Medicine (NVOMD)
  • Extraordinary member of the Dutch Society of Physicians for Orthomanual Medicine (NVOMG)
