Scott, a young Old German Shepherd
De Oude family
Last year, in June, we got Scott, a sweet Old German Shepherd, aged four months at the time. Scott was a dog with a good pedigree from a good breeder – an important aspect for us, since we wanted a dog who would stay with us for a long time. The first months went by without a problem, and Scott grew to be a strong young boy..… Read more
Rocky, the Dachshund who was paralysed
My hernia was serious, but not hopeless. As it appeared later, on a scale of 1 till 5, I was situated on 4 (almost 5). Dr. Aharon readjusted my vertebral notches, positioning them back in the right place. After that, I was ordered to have a long and complete rest, which I did without much protest. My owners had to catheterise me three times per day, and after eight days… Read more

The Suppers family
We came to see you last year for the first time. Our long-haired Dachshund Leentje, then aged four, was suffering from a hernia. The second half of her body was completely paralysed and she couldn’t take it anymore. It was heartbreaking to see! Our vet could not help her anymore...… Read more
Tommy
Michel and Francoise
On October 4, 2009, one day after we got Tommy (aged 8) back from the animal hotel, we saw for the first time that he was lifting his left foreleg every once in a while, as he was sitting down. In the beginning we thought the problem will get solved by itself, but after a week we saw no improvement. As a matter of fact, it got worse. … Read more

Yuna
Zoetermeer - january 2011
Recently we bought a new Bordeaux Dog puppy (Chinook) to keep our 7.5 years old Bordeaux Dog Yuna company after the loss of our other dog Maciste. After a week they got used to each other, and Yuna became happier, playful and even displayed motherly behaviour. In September of 2010 she made a turn and immediately screamed loudly. After that she limped and had an arched back. The next day we went to our vet, who suspected a cruciate ligament straining or rupture. He gave us painkillers and the advice to keep Yuna calm for two weeks.… Read more
Bradley
Mrs. Kinnegen
Since last summer, our 9 years old Golden Retriever regularly couldn't use his right front leg when playing with our youngest dog. If that happened he would be crying loudly and after a while he could slowly start to use his leg again. After a consult of a veterinary specialist, wear and arthrosis of both of his elbows was diagnosed, and we were given Metacam for him. That went well for a while, but eventually Bradley became a slow, old dog.… Read more
Dommel and Douwe
Gerbert and Sandra
We got Dommel, a 1.5 years old cross breed Friese Stabij, from an animal shelter. From the beginning, Dommel had a behavioural problem when he was outside; he would be aggressive to every dog and cat, and also every person he met. He was pulling the leash, barking and snapping at everything that was moving.… Read more
